The historical drama series “Concentric Room Gosho Edo no Kaze” was broadcasted on the Fuji TV series in the 1970s.The soundtrack to the drama by Katsuhisa Hattori, a rare composer who has been active since the latter half of the 1950s and has produced many works during Ocha no Ma, has been reissued on the LP with obi, following the 7-inch that sold out immediately in various places!Includes all 22 gems spun by brilliant orchestration, from thrilling jazz-funk to dreamy mellow grooves. The sound source that was released in monaural at that time has been remastered to stereo by 8ronix this time. It has been reborn as a more intense and vivid sound image.
✺ Japanese RSD 2021 Exclusive ✺ Classic ’60s and ’70s Jazz drummingAkira Ishikawa, a drummer who led new jazz bands from the late 1960s to the 1970s.This work, which he released under the name of “Akira Ishikawa and Count Buffaloes”, incorporates various elements such as rock, funk, and afro brings experimental elements to jazz, and also serves as a backing for pop and popular songs, entertainment. A compilation album created with the motif of Okinawa by Ishikawa, who is a rare person who also has various elements.Kayo Ishu (child) and Time Five’s chorus add glamor to Japanese MFSB-like performances that incorporate disco beats.
For the first time ever, here is the soundtrack from the 1983 post-apocalyptic flick directed by Joe D'Amato, Endgame - Bronx Lotta Finale. A compelling Carlo Maria Cordio's mighty Vangelis-meets-John Carpenter score. With hangovers from previous Giallo-based outings, Endgame's themes are more gentle and introspective than, say, Claudio Simonetti's muscular work for The New Barbarians and Hands of Steel but also, arguably, musically more diverse. In particular, the opening title track 'Atomic Contamination" is genuinely chilling when set against the stock footage of a nuclear bomb going off. While liberally pinching the vibe of Blade Runner's more symphonic textures, Cordio's synthesizers also do bombast, melancholy and menace when required, whilst the pretty pieces for Lilith are like semi precious jewels shining out of the murk and machismo.
