Lovebirds

Welcome the return of the legendary Winding Road Records. Originally launched in 2002 by Schmoov! and home to releases by cult artists such as Ron Basejam, Hot Toddy, both of Crazy P fame as well Vincenzo, Rhythm Plate, Spirit Catcher and not to mention Lovebirds and their monster hit, I Want You In My Soul. After a hiatus, the label is back with a bang and teaming up once again with Lovebirds for another classic EP.

‘They Call Me’ is a funk-fuelled jam with bluesy vocals and horns, all sounding kinda Moodymann. Rolling keys, incredible live bass, and solid beats. Dancefloor winner.

‘Smooth & Fatfree’ is a dreamy downtempo groover with the fattest, squelchiest bass in town, and the smoothest keys this side of Berlin. Afterparty gold.

Finally ‘Bali Birds’, a slinky deep house groove with a twanging bassline nestling between mellow chords and strings, reminiscent of Super Discount vibes.
