Let It Bleed, one of the landmark albums in the Rolling Stones’ discography, is being reissued and remastered by Bob Ludwig to mark the 50th anniversary of its release.
Released in December 1969, Let It Bleed is considered one of the most important rock albums of all time. Three of the Rolling Stones’ greatest songs appear on this masterpiece: Gimme Shelter, Midnight Rambler, and You Can’t Always Get What You Want. It is also the album on which Mick Taylor made his debut with the band. The main influences here are blues, country, and gospel.
