The "Lupin The 3rd Orignal Soundtrack Clear Red Vinyl Edition" by You & Explosion Band Yuji Ohno is released as a 12-inch edition on Nippon Columbia and brings key themes from the Lupin universe to colored vinyl. The clear red vinyl underscores the collectible character of the release and transfers both the orchestral and funky arrangements cleanly to the format.

For decades, Yuji Ohno with You & Explosion Band has defined the compositional core of the series, combining jazzy harmonies with funk, soul, and fusion elements; this blend also shapes the present compilation. Characteristic features include striking horn lines, springy bass runs, and smooth Rhodes or piano parts that carry both grooving tracks and cinematic interludes. The band functions as a flexible ensemble that shifts between a big band feel and more intimate small jazz combo settings.

This edition highlights not only the well-known themes but also Yuji Ohno’s arrangements and production work; dense horn sections and selective string arrangements add cinematic depth, while the rhythm section drives the pieces forward. For lovers of soundtrack jazz and collectors of Japanese soundtrack pressings, this LP offers a documentary addition to the discography of You & Explosion Band Yuji Ohno.
