Il propose une combinaison de hip-hop et de jazz instrumental, avec des artistes comme Shing02, Substantial, Five Deez et Cise Starr (de CYNE). Malgré le fait que l’album comporte des contributions vocales de plusieurs artistes, il est plus ou moins classé comme un album de breakbeat.Uyama Hiroto a contribué à plusieurs titres notables de l’album, notamment Letter from Yokosuka et Next View, et a participé aux albums suivants Modal Soul et Spiritual State. Metaphorical Music a été acclamé par tous les fans de Nujabes et par la critique.

We are thrilled to present Phonkerie Vol. 3, the 3rd installement of our Compilation series and our most ambitious project to date!Partaking in this new project is an increasingly prestigious and international cast.As on Volume 1 & Volume 2, we aim to offer a wide range of the different waves of the Phonk scene:Drum n Bass with a 100% Belgian collaboration between Wtfthisyear and Nicky Slime, Dirt with tracks from Robbgikma and Sxlvr, G Phonk with Sathim and Lowpocus, OG Phonk with underground star Roland Jones, Atmospheric with tracks from Kwazar, and Train Fantôme members Malgani, Zzero and Puff Natas, but also Dungeon Rap with Russian pioneer Trillandkill.We're very proud to have a track by Kold Blooded, legendary MC of the Schemaposse, the first crew of Lil Peep, Ghostemane or Jgrxxn.Artists from the 4 corners of the globe can be found on the tracklist, such as Tommy Martini representing Brazil, or South Korean rapper The Soju Queen .We're delighted to be extending the collaborations we started on our first release, with artists such as Cxxlion from Sweden and CANA from Berlin.Phonkerie Vol. 3 de La Phonkerie
